WOW What happened? In light of 2020 now August 2021 and heading into September
In light of 2020 now August, 2021
Who would have ever thought everything would shut down, right? As a musician and music producer life shut down. However, God has the big picture...we don't.
Who would have thought there would be so much hatred in the front of us, yet there were some miraculous love projects going on that propelled heroism. Caring and presenting an incredible love for people was really all around us. For example, our frontline workers who have sacrificed their lives for others. Some may have known they were actually showing God’s love for people and some maybe not realizing their sacrifice for others is really a heart of compassion, a heart of love. Which is, God is love.
1 John 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Many people who volunteered for other things or an essential worker, same thing.
The hatred that has happened in America is horrible and shows just how far we have strayed from a heart after God. Take God out? You have 2020 and all its hatred. That’s not us. I choose God; therefore, I choose love. I choose to encourage and help people as much as I can. I choose to write the music that brings encouragement to help people move from hopeless to hopeful. To remind people God loves us, cares for us and will walk with us through this journey.
I’m consistently reminded of how life’s journey is just that, a journey. Good, bad, and ugly.
Even in the hardest of times I choose the good. Not the bad and the ugly. Why? Because God is good. He loves us and is with us. The bad and ugly is not a heart of love or a heart after God.
I choose love. How about you?
